Archival institutions traditionally looked favourably on the acceptance of monetary donations to support the work of the Archives. The W.I. Federal Archives Centre is a not-for-profit institution and like other archival institutions looks forward to receiving funding for projects from its users and potential users. However, other forms of donations are also welcomed. Although monetary donations can assist with the acquisition of much needed equipment or materials, the Archives also recognises that there are individuals willing and able to invest their time and energy in the work of the institution and in the near future, the staff of the Archives will seek to organize a programme for volunteers.
